Emergency Air Conditioning Repair Parramatta
Cooling gone in the middle of a western Sydney heatwave? Call any hour and a real person answers, not a machine. In most cases we have a licensed local technician to you the same day or first thing the next morning, with a fixed call-out price confirmed before anyone gets in the van.
24/7 Emergency Service —
Parramatta Heat Does Not Wait for a Service Window
Parramatta routinely runs five to eight degrees hotter than the eastern beaches on the same afternoon. When a system fails out here in January, the house is unlivable within hours, not days. That is why our line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including public holidays. You call, a person takes the details, and a licensed technician is dispatched.

When Is an Aircon Fault Actually an Emergency?
Any failure that puts health, safety or the house at risk. That means an electrical burning smell from the unit, a system repeatedly tripping the switchboard, a suspected refrigerant leak, a carbon monoxide alarm sounding, or water pouring out of a ducted unit into a ceiling cavity. Those need attention now, not next week.
Total cooling failure during a western Sydney heat run is an emergency by any sensible measure. Once the mercury sits above 40 for a few days running, brick and Hardieplank homes across Harris Park, Westmead and North Parramatta hold that heat overnight and never cool down. If there is an infant, an elderly parent or anyone with a heart or respiratory condition in the house, tell us on the call.
Other faults can wait a couple of days without drama. A noise that has been there for weeks, one bedroom running warmer than the rest, weak airflow that crept up on you, a remote that stopped talking to the unit. Book it in, because these grow into breakdowns, but you will get through tonight. Not sure which category you are in? Describe it and we will give you an honest read.
If you can smell gas, or a carbon monoxide alarm has sounded, or anyone in the house has a headache, nausea or unusual drowsiness that eases when they step outside: turn the appliance off, open windows and doors, and get everyone into fresh air. Call 000 if anyone is unwell, and your state gas emergency line for a suspected gas leak. Do not use the appliance again until it has been checked. Then call us on 1300 730 896.

What can I do while I wait for someone to arrive?
If the unit is smoking, sparking, burning or leaking water, turn it off at the wall. Do not keep flicking a tripped breaker back on. Put a bucket and towels under any drip and shift furniture and electronics clear. In heat like ours, close every blind and curtain on the sun side, shut off rooms you are not using, run ceiling fans and keep water up to everyone. Have the brand, model and any error code ready for the technician.
How quickly can a technician reach Parramatta?
The booking line is staffed 24 hours a day. With technicians based right across western Sydney, same day or first thing next morning is the normal outcome here. During a genuine heatwave, demand across the west spikes hard, so we tell you honestly what slot is available rather than promising a time we cannot hold.
Does an after-hours callout cost more?
You pay a fixed call-out fee covering travel, diagnosis and a full assessment of the fault, and you know the exact amount before we book you. No hidden charges, no surprise bill at the end. Parts or extra work are quoted in writing and approved by you before the job starts.
My system is running but the house is not cooling. Is that urgent?
It can be. In 40 degree weather a system that runs constantly without pulling the temperature down is often low on refrigerant, iced up, or has a failing compressor, and running it in that state can cause more damage. Switch it off, call us, and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you whether to leave it off until we arrive.
Do you repair units in apartments and townhouses?
Yes. Parramatta has a lot of newer apartment stock with multi-head and small ducted systems, plus townhouses where the outdoor unit sits in a shared area. Let us know if you need building or strata access arranged and we will sort that with the manager rather than leaving it to you.
Which brands can you work on?
All the major brands sold here, including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, ActronAir, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Kelvinator, Rinnai and Braemar. We hold authorised service agent status for the major names, so warranty repairs stay valid.

"Extremely helpful staff!!! My reverse cycle split system stopped working suddenly (of course when I needed it most), and the staff talked me through the process. They sent a technician the very next day. He was friendly, efficient, had extra parts on hand to fix the problem there and then, and didn't even leave a mess. Great value for money!"

"Joshua is an absolute credit to the company. He patiently explained the options and the fees upfront. The technician arrived early, diagnosed the problem, and informed me the repair was covered under warranty and that he wasn't an approved Panasonic repairer. His honesty saved me a significant amount of money in a voided warranty."

"I experienced a wonderful professional service from the company and the two technicians that installed my new system within several days. The time lag was mostly as a result of organising finances and reconciling details with my insurance company. I would not hesitate in recommending Quick Air to anyone."

"I couldn't choose quality, value, professionalism, responsiveness, or punctuality as my most liked thing about Quick Air. I cannot give a negative answer on any of them as all my expectations were met. The technician was most knowledgeable and the patience and guidance given to his apprentice was outstanding. I will recommend this company to my friends without any hesitation."
