How often should I get my aircon or heater cleaned?

Why can't I just clean it myself?
Wiping down the outside of the unit is something anyone can do. The inside is a different matter. The built-up dust, mould and bacteria sit in components that need specific cleaning agents, tools and protective equipment to remove safely. Our technicians are trained specifically for this work, so it’s done properly and without damaging the system.
Will a clean help with mould or a musty smell?
Yes. Musty air is usually a sign of mould and bacteria growing inside the unit, in the fan barrel, drain pan and coils. We wash those parts and treat them with healthy mould killers, so the air moving through your home is cleaner rather than carrying that grime with it.
Will a clean lower my power bills?
It can. A dirty system has to work harder to reach the same temperature, which uses more power and puts more wear on the equipment. Clearing that build-up lets the unit run the way it was designed to, which is easier on both your power bill and the system’s lifespan.
What does a clean cost?
