Commercial HVAC Services in Frankston
Licensed technicians across Frankston retail, medical suites, hospitality and offices. Fixed pricing agreed before we attend, most parts carried on the van, and a documented report after every visit.
When a commercial system stops, the invoice for the part is the least of it. You are turning customers away, moving appointments, or trying to trade through a room that is too hot to sit in. Frankston businesses also deal with bayside air, which quietly shortens the life of outdoor equipment long before anyone thinks to check it.
QuickAir began as an enterprise business. We were formed to provide national in-field technical support for Australia’s second-largest telecommunications company, which needed an Australian owned provider able to get a licensed technician to any site in the country. Two of Australia’s largest insurance groups followed, using our written assessments for HVAC claims. The residential brand launched later, around 2015.
For Frankston that means technicians based across the bayside and peninsula rather than driving down from the city, one operating centre handling booking, dispatch and tracking, and an in-house compliance team keeping refrigerant and Victorian electrical licensing current. One site or a portfolio, you get a single contact and one consistent standard.
Frankston Businesses We Work With
Frankston covers a broad commercial base. Retail through the centre and along Nepean Highway, medical and allied health suites, cafes, pubs and restaurants, offices, gyms, education sites, and light industrial and trade premises through the surrounding estates. The demands differ, but almost all of it sits close enough to the bay for corrosion to matter.
We regularly provide commercial HVAC services for:
- Office buildings and professional workplaces
- Retail stores and shopping centers
- Restaurants and food service establishments
- Medical offices and healthcare facilities
- Schools and educational buildings
- Churches and places of worship
- Warehouses and light industrial facilities
- Property management companies
- Multi-tenant commercial properties
- Hospitality businesses, including hotels and lodging facilities
What We Do for Frankston Commercial Sites
We service, repair, install and maintain commercial heating and cooling, covering rooftop package units, ducted and multi-split systems, ceiling cassettes, reverse cycle, gas and hydronic heating. Peninsula weather means both a real cooling season and a genuinely cold winter, so equipment here has to work properly in both directions, not just when it is hot.
Commercial Air Conditioning Repair in Frankston
A licensed technician attends, diagnoses the fault on site and explains it in plain terms. Common spare parts are carried, so many faults are resolved during the first visit rather than turning into a return trip. If a part must be ordered or the scope grows, you get a written quote first. We repair compressors, motors, controllers, electrical faults, refrigerant leaks and airflow problems across all major brands.
Commercial HVAC Installation and Replacement
We assess the building, the load and the exposure before quoting anything. On bayside sites that includes specifying components that will survive salt air rather than the standard build, which is a decision worth making at install rather than regretting in five years. Quotes come in writing with the options set out, and old equipment is removed as part of the same job.
Commercial Maintenance and Servicing
Regular servicing is what keeps a system from failing in the middle of a trading week. Salt exposure, dust and long run hours all reduce capacity gradually, so the decline is easy to miss until the equipment cannot keep up. A planned program covers filters, coils, refrigerant charge, drains, electrical connections and airflow, with every visit documented for your compliance and warranty records.
Why Frankston Businesses Use QuickAir
There is no shortage of contractors on the peninsula. What is harder to find is one that can attend quickly in peak season, cover several sites at once, and leave documentation good enough for an insurer.
Commercial roots. Over a decade servicing a national telco and two of Australia’s largest insurance groups, to standards those clients audit rather than assume.
Local technicians, national coverage. 350+ licensed technicians based locally with centralised booking and dispatch.
Reports that hold up. Written quotes, professional invoices and service reports built to insurer documentation standards.
We work around trading hours. Occupied shops, clinics, venues and offices are everyday sites, with police checks where required.
Fixed, approved pricing. The cost is agreed before we attend, and nothing outside that scope proceeds without your approval.

How often should commercial equipment be serviced near the bay?
Twice a year at minimum, and more where the site is close to the water. Salt air corrodes condenser coils and outdoor casings steadily, which reduces capacity long before anything stops working. Regular coil cleaning slows that down considerably, and the service records give you the history you need for warranty or insurance discussions.
Our heating struggles on cold mornings. Is that normal?
Not really. Reverse cycle systems do lose some efficiency in low temperatures, but a system that cannot reach temperature on a cold morning usually has an airflow restriction, a refrigerant issue, a defrost fault, or in gas systems a component that needs attention. It is worth diagnosing properly rather than accepting it as a limitation.
Can you service several units at one site in a single visit?
Yes, and it is usually the cheaper way to do it. Where a site runs multiple units we schedule them together and give you an asset by asset record of what was inspected and what was found, which makes budgeting and compliance reporting far simpler than a stack of separate dockets.
How long should commercial plant last here?
Typically 15 to 20 years, with coastal exposure and maintenance history the two factors that move it most. Corrosion is what ends the life of a lot of outdoor equipment in bayside areas. When yours is nearing the end we will say so plainly and quote both the repair and the replacement so you can compare properly.
Do you work on gas heating as well as air conditioning?
Yes, including gas ducted and hydronic systems alongside reverse cycle. Gas appliances also need proper safety checks as part of servicing, which is not something to leave to a contractor who mainly works on split systems. We handle the full system rather than half of it.
Do you cover the wider Mornington Peninsula?
Yes. Frankston, the peninsula, greater Melbourne, regional Victoria and every other capital city are all covered. Multi-site portfolios are coordinated through one contact with the same reporting format across every location.

"Extremely helpful staff!!! My reverse cycle split system stopped working suddenly (of course when I needed it most), and the staff talked me through the process. They sent a technician the very next day. He was friendly, efficient, had extra parts on hand to fix the problem there and then, and didn't even leave a mess. Great value for money!"

"Joshua is an absolute credit to the company. He patiently explained the options and the fees upfront. The technician arrived early, diagnosed the problem, and informed me the repair was covered under warranty and that he wasn't an approved Panasonic repairer. His honesty saved me a significant amount of money in a voided warranty."

"I experienced a wonderful professional service from the company and the two technicians that installed my new system within several days. The time lag was mostly as a result of organising finances and reconciling details with my insurance company. I would not hesitate in recommending Quick Air to anyone."

"I couldn't choose quality, value, professionalism, responsiveness, or punctuality as my most liked thing about Quick Air. I cannot give a negative answer on any of them as all my expectations were met. The technician was most knowledgeable and the patience and guidance given to his apprentice was outstanding. I will recommend this company to my friends without any hesitation."
